Come tour Hedgewood Farms October 6 at 1:00 pm until we are tired of walking and talking. Wear “Farm shoes” and we recommend long pants. Expect any conditions. (tall grass, mud, bugs, poop and whatever else nature has to offer) depending on the weather and what’s happening on the farm at that time.

We’ll start at our freezer building on the corner of West 299th & Victory Rd. Paola, KS then head up the road to the farm. We plan to show you our egg layers, our pastured meat chickens and our hogs while talking about how and why they are raised like they are. We may or may not have cattle on the farm during the tour as we are moving the herd off our land for the winter in order to do some infrastructure work to decrease our management intensive rotational grazing labor.
