BROOKSIDE FARMERS MARKET IS CELEBRATING ALL THINGS TOMATO THIS SUMMER

(Kansas City, MO) A farmers market favorite is ripe and ready here in Missouri: the tomato! Join your local farmers, ranchers, and artisans as we celebrate all things tomato. A free, family-friendly event Saturday, July 24th from 8:00am - 1:00pm.

In addition to organically grown tomatoes, this year’s Tomato Festival will feature a variety of activities:

1. Canning with Karlean - Tomatoes for Winter!

2. Charcuterie Board w Claire 

3. Chef Demonstrations from Seigo Sakata, Kendall Harris and Thomas Luna

4. Hot Food Pop-Ups 

5. Tomato Contest 

Celebrate the Tomato Festival this summer at Brookside Farmers' Market located at HJ's Community Center, 6425 Wornall Road, in the heart of Brookside.

And as always, Tomato Festival visitors can explore the market to find fresh, locally & organically grown produce, baked goods, and crafts.
