Brookside Farmers’ Market is a lively community of local growers and producers sharing organic and non-GMO food with Kansas City eaters. The market has brought farm fresh produce to the Brookside neighborhood since 2003.
The market is located at 63rd Street and Wornall Road and is open Saturdays 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October and 9 a.m. to 12 noon November 7-21.
Brookside Farmers’ Market is an organic, local, vendor-only market which means all producers use organic, sustainable and cruelty-free practices, travel less than 100 miles to market, and those who grow, raise or make every product are the ones who sell it to you directly. Many veggies even come from KC’s urban farms!
Each Saturday you will find just-picked, farm-fresh vegetables and herbs, bright flowers, delicious meat, eggs from free-range chickens, handmade products for home and body, freshly prepared breads and baked goods including many vegan and gluten-free items, ice cream, and a place to sit and visit.
Join us for live music, children’s activities, educational exhibits, chef demos and real good food.
We offer double SNAP dollars to help ensure fresh local products are available to all of the community, and are a member of Your Neighborhood Market, a partnership of several groups and area markets to help make local food choices available to as many Kansas City communities as possible.
